Wine Balance

There's no ignoring the critical importance of perceived wine balance. 

Producing top quality wine is a serious balancing act.

With so many juxtaposing ingredients and elements, it's all too easy for one to bump off the other one, overshadow it, or extinguish it from existence altogether!

Who are the big players? It's very similiar as with wine structure - acid, fruit, tannins, body, sugar, and alcohol...

You know when you've found a wonderfully balanced wine when not one individual element stands out and shouts down your throat. It's not ALCOHOL, ALCOHOL, ALCOHOL. Nor is it just a glass of SUGAR, SUGAR, SUGAR. Nor of course, should it taste like vinegar (that would be like? You guessed it...ACID, ACID, ACID!)
